Nick Smith teaches DL courses to teenagers and adults on BC’s Sunshine Coast. He has designed course materials for the Vancouver Learning Network, the Western Canadian Learning Network (WCLN) and School District #46 and has presented many times at the BCDL conference. He completed his Master’s of Educational Technology through UBC in 2007 where he focused on instructional design for blended learning environments. He writes on occasion for The Tyee about education and educational technology.
