I have worked as a teacher, facilitator, consultant and trainer for government, schools, districts, corporations, and non-profit groups for over 30 years.  I am a member of, or leader in, several associations in the academic and corporate sectors.  I have worked through Knowplace (Open2Know), a certified Moodle partner, to support this conference over the past few years.  We are happy to be working with BCcampus and Moodle.org to manage this conference.

I believe in building strength and capacity in others, and the principles of shared leadership.  My work in community development allowed me to apply the principles of leadership in building capacity of youth and adults, and in online, virtual interactions and learning.  I have led, practiced, trained and studied learning in both online and onsite environments in industry and education, and now help others to do so.
