Lawrence is currently on secondment to the British Columbia Institute of Technology for the FAST BC project. BCcampus collaborates with and offers consultation services to post-secondary institutions and stakeholders in B.C. to develop innovative solutions to institutional and systemic needs. A recent focus on education projects is on research, implementation and piloting of new technologies and learning system design for competency-based education platforms for trades training and health care education as well as leading and facilitating multi-stakeholder projects requiring system-wide, innovative solutions on behalf of sponsors and stakeholders. Lawrence previously worked as Director, Shared and Collaborative Services at BCcampus, Director of the Flexible Learning for Trades Training (E-PPRENTICE) Initiative sponsored by BC's Industry Training Authority (ITA) which was managed by BCcampus as host organization, and in various capacities prior to that at BCIT.
